I have now hit my alarm weight. It’s time to take some serious action. I’ll be going to the gym tonight, and I’ve started doing situps and pushups nights again. I’ll also take some time today to set up an account at an online fitness diary and start journalling all my consumption and exercise – just like money, it’s much easier to manage eating and exercise when you’re focusing on every penny, every calorie.

I think part of the weight gain has been due to letting loose around holidays – specifically lately, it’s been Chinese New Year and the Oscars. I can’t live life like a roller-coaster though, so I’ve got to find a way to balance myself out better, even when we celebrate with food.

I’m glad I started this fatblogging posting. I used to be against weighing every day, but I realize now that catching trends as quick as possible is important to managing my weight.

I have to say, I’m glad Calacanis started this fatblogging meme. By blogging about my weight every day, I’ve kept fitness in the forefront of my mind.
